Beckett is now notorious for bad re-slabs causing cracks in the case when sealing the cards (almost 100 percent of the time). Beckett is now also notorious for bad re-sleeves (as well as re-slabs) causing what look like scratches, gouges and scuffs on the card.

However, any marks you see are not on the actual card - scratches are on the sleeve Beckett uses to encase the card or on the INSIDE of the slab (scratched plastic on the INSIDE of the case). Good luck getting a good re-sleeve from Beckett on the first attempt you send it in for a re-sleeve or re-slab. Up to four times (four separate mailings) per card before Beckett gets the re-slab and re-sleeve correct. For a visual sample of the inferior quality and workmanship you can expect in the majority of cases with Beckett. Beckett used to do a very good job slabbing cards 5 to 10 years ago - but now unfortunately you too often receive an inferior product and workmanship. My expectation now with Beckett is that I'll be receiving an inferior product and inferior workmanship in the majority of graded cards I get back from them. That being said, if you happen to get a great re-sleeve and re-slab done by Beckett then rejoice - Thanks for playing Beckett roulette!!!!
