1984-85 Star #101 Michael Jordan RC True Rookie HOF BGS 8.5 MINT BAS 10 AUTO UDA. Card #101 is widely considered MJs TRUE ROOKIE! This is MJs first and best rookie card!

Such a high grade for this year and a 10 AUTO.... This card is very rare! MJ only signed these cards for kids. When the card was signed it changed hands and was slid across the table a couple of times. First for MJ to sign and second it was passed to the Upper Deck representative to place the UD authentication sticker on the card.

Then the card whet back to the kiddo who placed it in a card holder. Once it gets back to Beckett very few receive an 8.5 final card grade!!

The surface, edges and corners were exposed through the signing process. Thats why there are no Beckett 9.5 or 10 final card grades and only BGS 9 final card grades are higher. This card will rarely surface at this high of a grade many more times if ever.
